Recognition of your

professional qualification

 

> Anyone who wants to work as a nursing professional in Germany needs recognition of the qualification obtained abroad.

For this purpose, it will be checked whether your training is comparable to the German one (so-called “equivalence test”).

 

Important terms:

Partial recognition → adaptation measures required (e.g. knowledge test or adaptation course)

 

Full recognition → direct professional practice possible
